Welcome! Here at Suruchi award-winning Indian Restaurant in Malta, we aim to deliver the highest level of Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. Recently launched in the heart of St. Julian’s, Suruchi has quickly climbed the ranks as a top Indian restaurant in Malta.

Our authentic flavours and dining experience have won us several awards, including ‘Best Restaurant Award’ 2015/2017,/2018/and 2019 and Trip Advisor’s ‘Certification of Excellence 2016’/2017/2018  and Quality assured Indian Restaurant in Malta by the Malta Tourism Authority – MTA 2016 to 2018 . Owner and manager Alan Kawsar, sources the freshest ingredients from our native land to give  our diners a truly traditional taste of Indian food.

Meet Our Team

Alan Kawsar

Owner/Manager

Originally from Bangladesh, Alan Kawsar was brought up in the restaurant and catering business by his father and quickly developed a love for food. After leaving his home in Bangladesh, and arriving to Malta 5 years ago, Alan could not find a restaurant that was true to Indian food back home. With this, he made his dream a reality and opened Suruchi.

Mr.Brindara Singh ( Head Chef ) I ‘Originally from India I give thanks to our owner alan, who has given me the opportunity to relocate from India to Malta to work at Suruchi after having gained 17 years of experience in an indian kitchen

Cooking food is my passion. I strive to create top quality dishes whilst not compromising on any ingredients and using only pure ingredients to our clients with every dish we serve. I love to know that each guest is satisfied and happy with our food and service
